### 3.11.1 Rigid Constraints

The rigid constraints section allows users to prescribe the kinematics, forces, and moments applied to a single rigid body. The particular constraint is defined via the type attribute.
The following rigid constraints can be defined.
 type Description fix Fix one or more rigid degrees of freedom. prescribe Prescribed the value of a rigid degree of freedom force Apply a force (or moment) to a rigid degree of freedom. initial_rigid_velocity Set the initial velocity of the rigid body. initial_rigid_angular_velocity Set the initial angular velocity of the rigid body
