3.11.1 Rigid Constraints
The rigid constraints section allows users to prescribe the kinematics, forces, and moments applied to a single rigid body. The particular constraint is defined via the type attribute.
The following rigid constraints can be defined.
type | Description |
fix | Fix one or more rigid degrees of freedom. |
prescribe | Prescribed the value of a rigid degree of freedom |
force | Apply a force (or moment) to a rigid degree of freedom. |
initial_rigid_velocity | Set the initial velocity of the rigid body. |
initial_rigid_angular_velocity | Set the initial angular velocity of the rigid body |
