4.10.3 Solvent Supply Materials
Solvent supply materials may be used to simulate an external source of solvent, such as supply from microvasculature that is not modeled explicitly. The solvent supply term, , appears in the mass balance relation for the mixture, has units of reciprocal time [t ]; it represents the rate at which the volume fraction of solvent changes with time.
